Psychology and workplace injuries

Psychology services offer a tailored and structured aid in the recovery of workplace injuries. The service can also provide guidance and assistance with suitable return to work plans and psychoeducation and support to maintain work engagement and wellness at work.

Jemma has a wealth of experience providing psychological services to people from a range of industries and vocations who have sustained workplace injuries.

Return to work, positive engagement in work and keeping safe and well at work is a great passion for Jemma and she values the services she can provide people with this need.

Jemma knows the workers compensation and occupational space well and very much enjoys working with clients, GPs, treating specialists, insurance agents, employers and return to work coordinators to facilitate a person's recovery, return to work and engagement in sustainable employment.

Workers Compensation

Jemma is a SIRA accredited psychologist which means Jemma can offer psychological services via an approved insurance claim for people who have sustained a workplace injury or a motor vehicle accident (CTP insurance) in NSW. Jemma is also approved to offer psychological services for people who have sustained a workplace injury in QLD.

Medicare

Jemma holds a valid and current Medicare provider number, which means if you have a current Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP Doctor and hold a Medicare card, you could be eligible for subsidised psychology appointments.

Victim Services

Jemma is an approved counsellor with Victim Services and can provide services to those granted counselling hours from Victim Services Scheme.
